BFC January Planning Committee Meeting

Start the new year with us at our January Planning Committee Meeting! We’ll continue Spring Concert planning, finalize winter event logistics, and explore fresh programming ideas to carry us into the new year.

This meeting is a great opportunity to reconnect after the holidays, share your input, and help shape the next season of family fun and community engagement with BFC.

About Our Monthly Meetings
The Planning Committee meets during the first week of each month, helping us stay organized while keeping flexibility around holidays and school breaks. These meetings are open to all members, volunteers, and new families interested in getting involved.

• Updates on upcoming events, finances, and volunteer coordination

• Open space for new ideas and feedback

Dads’ Day Out

Football • Bowling • Cold Beer

When:  Sunday at Kings in Burlington

Calling all Bedford dads! Join us for our third month running of Dads’ Event Out — this time we’re heading to Kings Dining & Entertainment in Burlington to catch the game, bowl a few frames, and enjoy an easy Sunday hang.

Kings is running some awesome Football Sunday promos, including:

• Gift Card Raffle – one winner every Sunday
• $1 Wings – Buffalo, BBQ, Maple Bourbon, or Honey Sriracha
• $30 Bud Light Beer Towers – daily deal
• $5 NÜTRL Specials

Football-only watchers are still welcome to drop in!

Moms’ Night Out with LexFUN!

Date: Wednesday, January 21st, 2026

Come out and unwind with other local moms over great drinks, delicious food, and even better conversation! This new monthly tradition with LexFUN is all about connection, laughter, and taking a little time for yourself midweek.

There’s no attendance limit, but please register so we know how many to expect.

Adult Night Out Puzzle Challenge & Social

Looking for a fun night out that’s part friendly competition and part social time?
Join us for an evening of laughter, teamwork, and puzzles at the Bedford High School Cafeteria!

When: February 6th  |  6:30-8:30 PM
Where: Bedford High School Cafeteria

• Contribute $8.75 (your share of the $35 team fee)

• Pay via Venmo @bfctoday (Bedford Family Connection), Pay through this event, or Visit bfctoday.org/sponsor (select “Other Amount” and enter $8.75)

Who: Ages 12+ (Middle school participants must be on a team with an adult)
Fee: $35 per team (up to 4 people)

Come ready to compete against other teams to see who can finish the puzzle first — and take home a prize for the winning team!

Between rounds, enjoy mingling with other caregivers and community members. Bring your own nut-free snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for a night of good old-fashioned fun and connection.

Don’t miss the Puzzle Swap Table — leave a puzzle, take a puzzle, and keep the fun going at home!

☀️ Join Us for a Weekly Afternoon Stroll! ☀️

Bedford Family Connection invites you to get outside, connect with other families, and enjoy the fresh air at our new weekly walking group!

Where: Bedford Depot Park (Loomis Street)
When: Thursdays at 4:00 PM

Families, strollers, and siblings welcome!

Bedford Depot Park is the perfect meeting spot — with free parking, outdoor seating, and plenty of space to gather. The park also features historic railroad buildings and a vintage passenger car you can check out before or after our walk. (Please note: the visitor’s center is open on weekends only.)

From there, we’ll decide together each week whether to stroll along the Minuteman Bike way or the Narrow-Gauge Rail-Trail.
